- Chili and Open Beer Bar Shoreside event passes to event participants and the public: Each shoreside event pass will admit one person to the exciting shoreside festivities and celebrations of Charleston Race Week. For an affordable price, the shoreside event pass provides entry to the Race Village April 19-22 and includes Cocktails on the Beach Thursday – Saturday (for those of legal drinking age), a Friday Lowcountry Feast, the Sunday afternoon Beer and Chili Cookout, plus trophy presentations, raffle prizes, sponsor demonstrations, live bands and more. Marina: Charleston Harbor Marina (CHM), at 459 slips, is the largest marina ever permitted in the state of South Carolina with over 17,000 linear feet of floating dock space situated in Charleston Harbor. This dockage will be in a side tie configuration with other boats rafted along side 2-3 deep and may be at the docks farthest from the hotel. Those qualifying for the complimentary dock space will be notified of the offer and asked to confirm their intent. No individual slips are available with the limited complimentary dockage.
